Concussion
October 16, 2019
Arkansas coach Chad Morris suggested Hayden (concussion) has a chance to play Saturday against Auburn, Trey Biddy of 247Sports.com reports. "Chase actually started working out last week, back out there with us last week," Morris said. "He was out there [Monday], so we'll continue to monitor him and evaluate him and see where he is."
ANALYSIS
Sidelined since Week 5 with the head injury, Hayden didn't make the trip to Lexington last weekend ahead of the Razorbacks' 24-20 loss to Kentucky. The coaching staff seems encouraged by Hayden's progress through the concussion protocol, but the running back will likely fill only a minor role on offense even if he gets clearance to play Saturday.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Hayden came from virtual anonymity as a freshman to quickly looking like the running back of the foreseeable future for the Hogs. He rushed for 246 yards and four touchdowns in the first four games of the season in 2017. He slowed down a bit as the competition stiffened, though, and then a broken leg ended his freshman year prematurely. Hayden is supposedly healthy now, and averaged 5.3 yards per tote during that freshman season. He will vie with Devwah Whaley and T.J. Hammonds for touches out of the backfield, but it would not be surprising if he eventually carried the majority of the rushing load.
