Sticking around at Boulder
February 11, 2020
Nixon will remain with Colorado for the upcoming season after he changed his mind about entering the 2020 NFL Draft, Brian Howell of the Boulder Daily Camera reports.
ANALYSIS
Nixon previously announced Dec. 10 that he would leave Boulder and prepare for the draft, but he reversed course nine days later after re-evaluating his options. The 5-foot-8, 185-pound wideout is set to graduate next December, so he'll be able to leave for the NFL in 2021 with his degree in hand. With star Laviska Shenault having held firm with his decision to move on to the NFL, Nixon projects to take on a greater role in the Colorado passing attack after ranking third on the team in receptions (35) and receiving yards (465) in 2019.
