Spencer Brown
Running BackRB
UAB Blazers
2018 Fantasy Outlook
Brown (6-0, 235) bullied his way to 1,329 yards and 10 touchdowns as a freshman last season and comes into this year as one of the top Group of Five running backs. He's an unquestioned workhorse – no other UAB back saw more than 54 carries – in an offense that runs the ball over 58 percent of the time. With that, Brown is a high floor back and the fact that he's going against porous Conference USA defenses gives him a good ceiling, too. The only downside is that he could get some touchdowns poached by quarterback A.J. Erdely, who punched in 13 scores last year. Read Past Outlooks
Rushes for 78 yards
RBUAB
December 19, 2018
Brown rushed 25 times for 78 yards against NIU on Tuesday. He also caught a touchdown.
ANALYSIS
Brown had eight receptions all season, so the fact he caught a touchdown is a fluke. However, he still had a great year, finishing with 1,227 yards rushing and 17 total touchdowns. Expect big things from him in his junior campaign.
