2020 Fantasy Outlook
In 2018, Bussey had 68 catches for 1,017 yards and 12 touchdowns for North Texas. Unfortunately, early in 2019 he suffered a torn ACL and the season became a total write off. Bussey decided in the offseason to transfer away from the Mean Green to join the high-flying Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. Of course, Hawaii has a new head coach, but Todd Graham has a strong track record. Bussey is facing some obstacles, as he is returning from injury and playing for a new team. There have to be questions about him replicating that 2018 form with Hawaii in 2020. Read Past Outlooks

Knee
May 31, 2020
Bussey (knee) announced Saturday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Hawaii as a graduate transfer from North Texas.
ANALYSIS
A fifth-year senior, Bussey was on track to complete his eligibility in 2019, but he played just two games before his season came to an end due to a torn ACL. The NCAA granted him an extra year of eligibility, and while he waited to finish his undergraduate degree, Bussey entered the transfer portal in February to pursue options with other programs. After taking a few months to evaluate his opportunities, Bussey has decided to take his talents to Honolulu, where he should immediately step into a prominent role in what typically is one of the FBS' most prolific passing attacks. During his last healthy season at North Texas in 2018, Bussey logged 68 receptions for 1,017 yards and 12 touchdowns. Expect him to seize a starting role right away with the Rainbow Warriors, assuming he's back at full speed for the start of the 2020 season.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
Michael Lawrence and Jalen Guyton were billed as the top receivers in the Mean Green receiving corps entering last season, but it was Bussey who stole the show as the leader in receptions (68),yards (1,017), and touchdowns (12). Bussey and the Mean Green lost brilliant offensive coordinator Graham Harrell to USC, but they still have quarterback Mason Fine and the new offensive coordinator had a promising track record from his time at Eastern Washington, where his offense averaged 43.1 points per game. Bussey’s role, talent, and team context make him a bankable fantasy asset.
