Knee
April 28, 2021
Buckley (knee) entered the transfer portal Wednesday and is expected to leave Texas A&M as a graduate transfer, Brian Perroni of 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After sitting out his senior season in 2020 while recovering from a torn ACL, Buckley will be looking to head elsewhere for his fifth and final year of eligibility heading into 2021. The wideout should be able to compete right away at his next school, and if he's able to bounce back from knee surgery, Buckley could fill an important pass-catching role. Over his three active seasons for the Aggies, Buckley registered 62 receptions for 877 yards and four touchdowns.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
Buckley averaged 13.9 yards per catch as a sophomore in 2018, but finished third in receiving yardage on the team and found the end zone just once. The Aggies will be forced to replace outstanding production lost at the tight end position, though, as leading receiver Jace Sternberger has moved on to the NFL. That means Buckley could see increased looks and will try to improve on his 34 catches from a season ago. However, Quartney Davis and Jhamon Ausbon, among others, will also be competing for targets, as the Aggies return their entire wide receiving corps from last year.
