DeVonta Smith
Wide ReceiverWR
Alabama Crimson Tide
2019 Fantasy Outlook
Smith was the fifth-leading receiver for the Tide during the 2018 regular season, but found the end zone in three of Alabama's final five contests, including in the Playoff Semifinal win over Oklahoma in which he had six catches for 104 yards to lead the squad. He finished his sophomore campaign with 42 catches for 693 yards and six touchdowns. Alabama returns Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs and Jaylen Waddle to the fold, though, and in a run-first offense the junior may have to fight for targets. Still, with Tua Tagovailoa spreading the ball around, Smith will have plenty of value. Read Past Outlooks
Leading receiver in win
WRAlabama
September 15, 2019
Smith caught eight passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns at South Carolina on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Smith broke out for his first 100-yard outing of the season, while also scoring his second and third touchdowns of the season. The Tide have a plethora of playmakers, so it is difficult to predict which wideout will shine on a given week. Still, Alabama should have its way with Southern Miss next weekend, and Smith has at least five catches in every game this year.
