Joins Memphis, will sit out 2019

August 22, 2019
Martin committed to Memphis on Tuesday, joining the program as a transfer from Auburn, Evan Barnes of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
ANALYSIS
Since Martin left Auburn without his degree, he won't be eligible to play for Memphis until the 2020 season. The former four-star recruit will have three years remaining beginning in 2020 and could contend for the top running-back job as soon as next year with Patrick Taylor's eligibility set to expire. As a true freshman at Auburn in 2019, Martin ran 13 times for 57 yards and added two receptions for 36 yards.
