Going to Mississippi State
June 8, 2020
Shavers announced Monday that he has committed to Mississippi State as a graduate transfer from Alabama, Mike Rodak of AL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Shavers suited up for 28 games over the past two seasons at Alabama, recording one reception for 20 yards and a 14-yard rush attempt during that span. A rising redshirt junior, Shavers will leave Alabama with two seasons of eligibility remaining, and he'll be able to compete immediately for the Bulldogs. Expect him to contend for a larger role in the Mississippi State passing game than what would have been possible at Alabama.
