Will miss spring practices

Brown (ankle) will miss the entire spring portion of team practices, Jeff Faraudo of the Cal Bears Maven reports.
Brown was helped off the field during Saturday's spring game due to an undisclosed ankle injury, the severity of which will cause him to miss California's final three spring practices. However, it appears that Brown is expected to be ready for summer conditioning work and make a full recovery prior to fall practice.
