Appears in bowl game
QBTCU
January 30, 2019
Rogers (knee) appeared in TCU's bowl game against California and was sacked for a four-yard loss.
ANALYSIS
It was reported in November that Rogers would be shut down for the season with a knee injury. However, TCU's attrition at the position down the stretch and poor quarterback play during the bowl game necessitated an appearance from the true freshman, which also signaled that he had moved past his knee issue. Rogers figures to be good to go for spring practice, but it's worth noting that TCU added a graduate transfer in Alex Delton from Kansas State this offseason and he'll factor into the equation at quarterback as well.

"Justin Rogers would've already taken a couple snaps if he was totally cleared to be able to do everything he needs to do," Patterson said.
