Withdraws from transfer portal
August 14, 2020
Green has withdrawn his name from the transfer, Chris Hummer of 247 Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Green entered the portal on July 15 to get a look at his options after starting each of the last two seasons for the Thundering Herd. Unfortunately, his 2020 campaign didn't end on a particularly high note, as he finished off the year with a 2:4 TD:INT ratio over the final three games. He apparently didn't find what he was looking for on the transfer market and will rejoin Marshall with two years of eligibility remaining.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
Green was named the starter for the Thundering Herd as a freshman, and he did nothing to lose that job heading into 2019. While he only threw for 2,238 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions, that's with him missing a few games due to injury. Hopefully he can stay healthy this year to build on those freshman numbers. While there is always the potential for a sophomore slump, Most quarterbacks improve in their second year as a starter. Green will need to improve to catch the eye of fantasy players, but if he shows that potential early in the year, he could be on the radar by the time conference play rolls around.
