January 12, 2021
Ford announced Tuesday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Florida Atlantic, joining the program as a transfer from South Florida.
ANALYSIS
During his three years as a member of the South Florida program, Ford racked up 1,175 rushing yards and 13 scores on 6.2 yards per carry while adding 31 receptions for 352 yards. He offers the versatility to line up out of the backfield or in the slot, which should help Ford's case for securing a significant role in the Florida Atlantic offense right away. Ford, who will enter 2021 with three years of eligibility remaining, will first need to secure a waiver from the NCAA in order to compete immediately for the Owls.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
Ford represents possibly the biggest upside for South Florida in 2019. After beginning last year behind Jordan Cronkrite at running back, he started digging into reps and averaged 85.0 yards on 12.0 carries over the team's final seven games. He was testing out slot receiver in spring and showed some promise with six catches for 30 yards and a touchdown. If he stays as a receiver, he'll likely be seen as the team's primary replacement for Tyre McCants, who graduated and took his team-leading 59 catches in 2018 with him. Whether it's with targets and receiving yards or carries and rushing yards, expect him to be one of the Bulls' leading fantasy producers in his sophomore season.
