Bulks up in off-season
March 25, 2019
Ingram has added 12-14 pounds of muscle in the off-season, Trenton Daeschner of the Dallas News reports.
Ingram was sort of limited to what he could do in 2018 as a true freshman due to his stature, which limited him to only 10.9 carries per game as he also became banged up as the season went on. With the added size to his frame, Ingram has become the clear favorite to take on the lead back and workhorse role of the Longhorns' backfield, which should allow him to grow on a season in which he averaged 4.98 yards per carry and found the end zone three times.
