2020 Fantasy Outlook
Robinson was the swiss-army knife of the Nebraska offense last season, finishing second on the team with 40 receptions for 453 yards and two touchdowns despite missing two games due to injury. He also showed some promise out of the backfield, toting the rock 88 times for 340 yards and another three scores. With JD Spielman transferring out this offseason, there’s likely a more pressing need for Robinson to play wideout in 2020, though it’s a good bet that coach Scott Frost will look to get the ball into the electric sophomore’s hands early and often. Spielman sported a 24.1 target share percentage last season, which seems like a realistic number, if not more, to anticipate if Robinson stays at receiver the entire season, especially with no other proven commodities on the roster at wide receiver. Chooses Kentucky
Not Injury Related
January 15, 2021
Robinson announced Friday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Kentucky, joining the program as a transfer from Nebraska.
ANALYSIS
Robinson was one of the Cornhuskers' primary offensive weapons during his two years in the program, and he led Nebraska in receiving (51 receptions for 461 yards and a touchdown) in the abbreviated 2020 campaign. Though Robinson leaves Nebraska without his degree, he should have a good case for earning a waiver for immediate eligibility since his decision to head to Kentucky was reportedly motivated by a desire to be closer to his mother, who recently tested positive for COVID-19 and is battling complications. Robinson will have three years of eligibility remaining to begin 2021.
