Headed to NFL
January 5, 2022
Robinson announced Wednesday via his personal Twitter account that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at Kentucky to enter the 2022 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
Robinson will head to the professional ranks on the heels of a huge junior campaign -- his first at Kentucky following a two-year stay at Nebraska -- in which he recorded 104 receptions for 1,334 yards and seven touchdowns on 144 targets. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound athlete was also effective as a runner, carrying seven times for 111 yards. Kentucky will surely look to the transfer portal to add multiple wideouts ahead of the 2022 campaign, but Robinson's massive production will be nearly impossible to replace.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2021
2020
Robinson transferred to the Wildcats from Nebraska, where he played both wide receiver and running back. He made the biggest impact as a pass catcher, though, as he snared 51 passes for 461 yards and a touchdown as a receiver. He led the Cornhuskers in both receptions and receiving yards by a wide margin. He also rushed 46 times for 240 yards and a touchdown on the ground. He averaged a stellar 5.2 yards per tote. Robinson should evoke comparisons to another Kentucky Swiss Army knife in recent history, Lynn Bowden, Jr., Though it will be difficult to replicate Bowden’s production as a quarterback/wide receiver/running back, Robinson has that type of versatile skill set.
Robinson was the swiss-army knife of the Nebraska offense last season, finishing second on the team with 40 receptions for 453 yards and two touchdowns despite missing two games due to injury. He also showed some promise out of the backfield, toting the rock 88 times for 340 yards and another three scores. With JD Spielman transferring out this offseason, there’s likely a more pressing need for Robinson to play wideout in 2020, though it’s a good bet that coach Scott Frost will look to get the ball into the electric sophomore’s hands early and often. Spielman sported a 24.1 target share percentage last season, which seems like a realistic number, if not more, to anticipate if Robinson stays at receiver the entire season, especially with no other proven commodities on the roster at wide receiver.
