The Longhorns are absolutely loaded in the receiving department. Not only did they add receivers Isaiah Neyor and Tarique Milton from Wyoming and Iowa State via the transfer portal, they welcomed in Agiye Hall and Billingsley from Alabama as well. Billingsley has elite talent and is coming off a season of 17 catches for 256 yards and three touchdowns on 39 targets. There's some excitement surrounding sophomore tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders, however, there should be plenty of targets to go all around, even to multiple tight ends, in a Texas offense that will push to be one of the most efficient in the country.
He has just 20 career catches but it’s hard not to see Billingsley’s boundless potential. In seven games last season, Billingsley caught 18 of 19 targets for 287 yards and three touchdowns. And also returned kicks. At 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds. Billingsley has rare movement skills for his size and projects to have a bigger role in the offense this season with DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle gone. Even though Alabama reloads at receiver, Billingsley has proven to have the talent to warrant a bigger share of the targets, which puts him firmly on the fantasy radar.
