Roberts has announced that he will be transferring to play at Louisiana-Monroe next season, Nathan Bond of The Daily Stampede reports.

Nick Roberts redshirted his first year at USF but went on to record 173 tackles, nine pass breakups, five interceptions and two sacks over the last three seasons. A reasoning for his transfer is likely due to the fact that former USF defensive backs coach Alonzo Hampton joined the Warhawks' staff which prompted Roberts to make the move with him. He'll be immediately eligible as a graduate transfer and will have two years of eligibility remaining.
