ANALYSIS
The Southern California native will return home, bringing with him two remaining years of collegiate eligibility. Byrd outperformed his initial recruiting stock by collecting 10 sacks and two forced fumbles while playing in 20 games over the past two seasons for Wyoming. The 249-pound defensive end will take a step up in competition when he gets to the Power 5 level and will likely compete for a rotational pass-rushing role this summer once he presumably enrolls with the Trojans.
