Past Fantasy Outlooks
2022
2021
A star recruit in 2020, Jarrett was relatively silent as a freshman, finishing with just 17 catches for 252 yards and a pair of scores. That production ramped up in a major way last year, with Jarrrett turning in 62 grabs for 829 yards and five touchdowns. However, While Jarrett didn’t score after Week 6, his target count grew to eight per game over the last six contests compared to just six per contest in the first seven, so there’s reason to anticipate a larger level of production in 2022, especially with Taulia Tagovailoa returning under center.
Jarrett is viewed as a breakout candidate in 2021 after a promising freshman campaign. The biggest get from Maryland's 2020 recruiting haul, Jarrett made an instant impact, catching 17 of 25 targets for 252 yards (10.2 YPT) and two touchdowns. Maryland was decidedly more pass-happy last year under quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa, ranking 21st in the nation in pass play rate. This bodes well for the entire Maryland receiving corps, especially Jarrett. Look for Jarrett to challenge for the team lead in targets while provided explosive per-target efficiency.
