Brown (lower body) is out for the rest of spring practice, C.L. Brown of The Raleigh News & Observer reports.
North Carolina is replacing a high percentage of its receiving production with Dyami Brown and Dazz Newsome off to the NFL, and Brown is expected to be one of the main players to step up. Unfortunately, Brown's development is in a holding pattern in light of this injury. There's no word on whether his injury will linger into fall camp. In the meantime, Emery Simmons and Josh Downs stand to top the North Carolina depth chart.
