Torres is a solid player for Texas Tech, and one that could serve as a Big 12-only league depth option with a little luck. He poses no threat to Darrin Moore or Eric Ward in the Red Raider wideout rotation, but he still totaled 51 catches for 616 yards and four touchdowns in 11 games last year.
Not much information has surfaced about the Texas Tech wideout rotation for 2011, but Torres is a good bet to emerge as one of the top targets. He only had 481 yards and three touchdowns last year, but he led the team in receptions in 2009, finishing with 67 catches for 806 yards and six touchdowns. With Lyle Leong and Detron Lewis out of the way, Torres has a good chance to return to his past prominence.
Torres surprisingly led Texas Tech in receptions last year, snagging 67 passes for 806 yards and six touchdowns. The 6-1, 196-pounder should be able to improve his production in 2010, but you never know with Texas Tech wideouts.
