Williams was the Eagles’ top rusher in 2012 but finished with just 584 yards and four touchdowns while sharing caries with Rolandan Finch. Finch has since left the program, and Williams appears to be on the cusp of a breakout campaign. New head coach Steve Addazio hasn’t been shy about his affinity for this big back, and Williams has little competition behind him. Durability has been a concern, however – he’s missed eight games in three seasons, including the final three contests of 2012 due to an abdominal injury. The Eagles are going to run Williams as much as he can handle, and if he has some luck with his durability, 1,200 yards and 10 scores is a reasonable projection.
