Parchment comes to FSU from Kansas and hopes to bolster a ‘Nole receiving corps that lacks experience and explosiveness. If we write off Parchment’s dismal 2020 to lackluster quarterback play and assume he can rebound to 2019 levels, there’s certainly appeal. Parchment put up 65 catches, 829 yards and seven scores that season, eight times grabbing at least five balls while going over the 100-yard mark in four contests and 80+ in two more. He’s a known deep threat, and at 6-foot-2, he’s big enough to use his body for contested catches. We’ve seen a Mike Norvell offense at Memphis produce elite fantasy wideouts, and they aren’t afraid to lock on a top option. The bigger question is quarterback play, as UCF transfer Mackenzie Milton didn’t look like himself during spring, and incumbent Jordan Travis, though reportedly improving, is more of a runner. Parchment likely has appeal in national leagues for depth, and the potential is there for much more if there’s solid play under center.
