As a junior, Buie rushed for 1678 yards and 17 touchdowns and added 22 receptions for 400 yards and four scores. He received offers from Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, South Carolina, LSU, Georgia Tech, TCU, Florida Atlantic and Florida International, but instead becomes the Scarlet Knights' ninth pledge for 2011.
