Becker announced Jan. 6 via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Utah, joining the program as a transfer from Colorado.

Becker arrives in Utah after a stellar two-year career at Boulder in which he converted on 25 of 33 field-goal tries and 45 of 46 extra-point attempts. He was also stifled the return game, as 63 of his 94 kickoffs at Colorado went for touchbacks. Becker will have two years of eligibility to use in Salt Lake City and shouldn't face much of a challenge for placekicking or kickoff duties.
