Hill saw a big uptick in playing time on Saturday against the Gamecocks as he was the main backup to veteran Jam Miller. While Miller outpaced Hill 10 to three in carries, Hill out performed Miller in the passing game with four catches for 76 yards to Millers three for 23. Hill ultimately found himself as the Tide's leading receiver on the day and broke loose for a couple long receptions including a big 41 yard catch and run to set up a touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
