Dorian Baker

The Wildcats have a talented trio of junior wideouts coming into this season and Baker may be the best of the bunch. At 6-3, 208, Baker is a long wideout that’s also physical enough to stand up to SEC corners. All told, his production was rather average on a per-target basis last season (11.1 YPR, 6.3 YPT 57.3% catch rate), but he was targeted just under 100 times in what was a stagnant offense compared to this year’s uptempo model under the instruction of former University of Cincinnati OC Eddie Gran. With a higher flying offense, Baker should receive a similar amount of targets while also getting better overall looks against gassed and smaller corners. If quarterback Drew Barker can mature into the starter he’s been hyped up to be, Baker will have a solid quarterback throwing his way in a potentially explosive offense.
