Holmes could be one of the more dependable returning targets for Purdue heading into the 2013 season. In 2012, he had 158 yards and two touchdowns but was impressive in the spring game for the Boilermakers, posting a team-leading four catches for 74 yards in the contest. With less experienced QBs heading into the season in either Rob Henry or Danny Etling, Holmes could be a solid safety valve in the offense.
