Ivory Kelly-Martin

Kelly-Martin toted the rock just 20 times during the 2017 season but managed an impressive 9.20 yards per carry and found pay dirt on three of them. With all-purpose tailback Akrum Wadley and backup James Butler both gone, some additional reps will open up in the backfield. While Redshirt sophomore Toren Young may get the first crack at early-down work, Kelly-Martin has the ideal makeup to serve as a third-down and pass-catching running back for the Hawkeyes in 2018 and could sneak in some early-down reps as well.
