Daughtry-Frye entered the NCAA's transfer portal Wednesday and is expected to leave Troy as a graduate transfer, 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 5-foot-7, 173-pound dynamo has served as a change-of-pace back over his four seasons at Troy, accumulating 652 yards on the ground (6.1 per carry) and 358 receiving yards while finding the end zone six times. Daughtry-Frye has perhaps made his biggest impact in the return game, averaging 26.1 yards and scoring once on 42 career kickoff returns. He moved to receiver during the spring, but it's unclear what position Daughtry-Frye will play at his next stop. He'll look to find a new home before the 2020 season gets underway.
