Finishing career in Columbia
Abraham announced his commitment to Missouri on Monday, joining the program as a walk-on graduate transfer from Mississippi State, Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
ANALYSIS
A former three-year starter at Southern Miss, Abraham moved on to Mississippi State ahead of the 2021 season but didn't see any action during his lone year in Starkville after he sustained a head injury last June that resulted in post-concussion syndrome. Missouri's decision to bring him aboard suggests Abraham has been cleared by doctors to resume his career, and despite his status as a walk-on, he should have the opportunity to compete for Missouri's wide-open starting quarterback job. Brady Cook, Tyler Macon and incoming freshman Sam Horn are also expected to compete for the gig with Abraham, who is heading into his seventh and final year of eligibility. During his time at the FBS level, Abraham has completed 69.3 percent of his throws for 7,067 yards, 41 touchdowns and 29 interceptions while accounting for seven more scores on the ground.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
Abraham ended 2018 on a down note, throwing five touchdowns against seven picks over his final six starts. He didn't play a full season under center, either, as Tate Whatley saw time at quarterback as well, and he's still around. The starting job seems to be Abraham's, but he doesn't have a comforable grip on the gig. If he slips up, Whatley could be back as the signal caller for the Golden Eagles before we know it.
