Jackie Williams

Williams doesn't seem to have much upside as strictly a chain mover for UAB, but he does have definite value in PPR leagues and should be owned in Conference-USA-only formats. He pulled in 58 passes for 607 yards last year, and he gave his value a nice boost by running for 81 yards and three touchdowns. He should be good for similar numbers in 2012.

Williams was quite active as a freshman last year, catching 30 passes and running the ball 12 times. He didn't show much big-play ability, however, totaling just 327 yards and three touchdowns through the air and 45 yards and a touchdown on the ground. But UAB looks poised to have a strong passing game thanks to quarterback Bryan Ellis, and the graduation of Frantrell Forrest, Mike Jones and Jeffery Anderson means a big opportunity awaits Williams this year. He might be worth a late pick in most leagues, particularly those with PPR scoring.
