Past Fantasy Outlooks
2019
2017
Jeudy on his own merit is good enough to be considered one of the top receivers in the fantasy landscape, but adding in that he’s Tua Tagovailoa’s top target takes him to another level. He’s coming off an efficient and explosive season in which he caught 65 percent of his targets with a 13.4 percent touchdown rate and a 12.6 YPT mark. Alabama’s depth at receiver makes it difficult to project a massive usage increase for Jeudy, but even just a repeat of last season’s totals would keep him as a Top-10 fantasy producer.
A five-star prospect from Deerfield Beach, Florida, Jeudy was considered one of the top wideouts in the Class of 2017. At 6-foot-1, 185-lbs, Jeudy is of a similar size and build to teammate Calvin Ridley, who back in 2015 broke the single-season freshman receiving yards record held by Amari Cooper. Jeudy may not get the opportunity to start right away, but coach Nick Saban has shown he is not afraid to play freshmen in the past, and if Robert Foster succumbs to yet another injury, the ultra-talented Jeudy could be thrust into the spotlight. Regardless, Jeudy has the skill set to become an immediate impact player for the Tide.
