Matt Nelson

The Louisiana Tech offense tends to get into the end zone often, so Nelson will get his fair share of extra points. In his three seasons as the Bulldogs’ starting kicker, he has averaged attempting 43.7 extra point attempts per year and has never attempted fewer than 40 in a single season. He made 15 of his 21 field goal attempts in 2011 (71.4 percent), a career high in both makes and attempts.
