Wile, the freshman kicker from San Diego, has impressed in early team workouts for Michigan and could very well hold down the starting kicking and punting duties for the Wolverines this season, according to Kyle Meinke of AnnArbor.com.

To say Michigan's kicking game was brutal last year would be a disservice to the word brutal. Wolverine kickers were a combined 4-for-14 last year. Wile was one of the more coveted kicking recruits in the country last year, and it's hard to envision him doing anywhere near as bad as the nightmare that was the Michigan kicking game in 2010.
