Ford's 2025 campaign began with a 113-yard performance against Hawaii, but the tailback fell well short of his Week 0 production Saturday. He handled just 12 carries as the Cardinal fell behind early, and Tuna Altheir, who didn't play in the opener, surprisingly logged six rushing attempts. Stanford has made it clear they want to be a run-first team, but that strategy is difficult to maintain when playing from behind, which they could be doing a lot of this season.
