Davis, a 5-11, 185-pound running back for Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia, has announced a verbal commitment to join the University of Florida's recruiting class for 2012, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

ANALYSIS
Davis' commitment comes on the heels of the announcement by ESPNU 150 running back Matt Jones that he'll be joining the Gators in 2012, suggesting that new offensive coordinator Charlie Weis will have a bevy of every-down backs to work with beginning next season. Interesting side note - Davis is the younger brother of former Clemson standout, James Davis.
