Adams' entry into the portal and will allow him to meet with prospective schools about a potential move, but he can technically still return to Appalachian State for his redshirt senior campaign. Even so, it appears the Mountaineers are prepared to move on without the wideout, as he's no longer listed on the latest update on their roster. Adams was credited with six receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown during his redshirt freshman year in 2016, but didn't draw any targets the past two seasons despite suiting up in 14 games.
