Moving on from UMass
Orekoya announced Sunday via his personal Twitter account that he has entered the NCAA's transfer portal with the intention of moving on from UMass.

Orekoya made the announcement one day after he failed to see any work out of the backfield in UMass' 41-0 loss to Georgia Southern in the Minutemen's season opener. As a graduate transfer, Orekoya will be able to compete right away at his next school in 2021. During his time at UMass, Orekoya logged 20 carries for 124 yards and a touchdown to go with three receptions for 43 yards and another score.
