Boothe has been working his way back from a torn ACL and had been limited during Southern Mississippi's training camp. He will have one year of eligibility remaining once he enrolls at a different program, and since he's leaving Hattiesburg with his degree, he'll be able to compete right away in 2021. Boothe logged 49 tackles and three sacks as a junior last season.
