Scores in season opener
Swint compiled four carries for 48 yards and one touchdown and reeled in their only target for 16 yards during Thursday's 73-6 victory against Bethune-Cookman.
ANALYSIS
Swint found the endzone in Thursday's season opener, a 27-yard rush early in the third quarter which took the 45-0 lead. Despite only having five touches, he finished the contest with 64 yards from scrimmage and also handled kickoff return duties. The redshirt freshman appears to be firmly behind Duke Watson on the depth chart and split carries with Landen Chambers in that backup role. Next Saturday's contest at Pittsburgh should give a better idea of how the carries will be split among the three backs.
