Trey Sanders

Sanders, an Alabama transfer and former five-star prospect, highlights the players that TCU brought over in the portal since they have just three starters returning from their surprising 13-2 team last year. With two years of eligibility remaining for Sanders, he could assume the role that Kendre Miller had with the team a year ago. Miller was sensational in the TCU offense while rushing for 1,399 yards and 17 touchdowns on 224 carries. Miller’s 6.25 yards per carry ranked second in the conference for running backs with at least 50 carries. Sanders has the type of talent where he could do much of the same if TCU can fit all their new pieces together. Sanders will share carries with Emani Bailey who returns after rushing for 250 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries in 2022.
