Continuing career at Missouri
Hopper announced Jan. 22 via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Missouri, joining the program as a transfer from North Carolina.
ANALYSIS
Hopper will be able to compete right away for the Tigers in what will be his final year of eligibility. The 6-foot-4, 252-pound linebacker suited up in just two games for the Tar Heels in 2021, but he was a regular part of the rotation in each of the preceding three seasons, tallying 53 tackles and three sacks over that stretch. He'll be joined at Missouri in 2022 by his cousin, Ty'Ron Hopper, who also plays linebacker and committed to the program just days after Tyrone following a three-year stint at Florida.
