Brown has been ruled out of the white-ball leg of South Africa tour with a lower back stress fracture, England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirms.
ANALYSIS
Brown, who is in Melbourne Stars squad in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL), has withdrawn from BBL and upcoming ODI and T20I series against South Africa, which begins on February 04, due to lower back stress fracture. Moreover, he will return to the UK to start his rehabilitation program with the Worcestershire medical team. Furthermore, the scan also revealed a partial stress fracture. England is expected to announce a replacement in due course.
