Maqsood will represent Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 edition, ESPNCricinfo reported on Thursday.

Maqsood will be playing for Islamabad United in the 2022-23 edition. The two-time winners signed the veteran right-hander in the Silver category. This will be Maqsood's fourth franchise in the PSL as he has already represented Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans in the past.
