Bowling at the death, Negi put the nails in the Daredevils' coffin, bowling out Amit Nishra on the final ball of the 18th over and then taking down a pair in the final over to get RCB a consolation victory on the final match of their tortured season. While RCB's bowling and batting have both been atrocious, Negi's been a lone bright spot, bowling at a 12.31 average (the second best in the tournament) and a 6.12 economy rate, the best figure of anyone with more than a dozen overs bowled.
