A surprise addition to New South Wales' one-day squad, Nevill not only returned to the squad, but came back as the wicketkeeper, a positive sign about the health of his thumb. While he's outside the international set-up these days, having not played in an international match since November 2016, Nevill's return to fitness well before the Big Bash League is a positive sign as he looks to round into form prior to the premier T20 competition.
