Ashwin, after the conclusion of the third Test against Australia, which ended in a draw, has announced his retirement from international cricket. Throughout his illustrious 14-year cricketing career, Ashwin represented India in 106 Tests, 116 ODIs, and 65 T20Is, amassing an impressive 765 wickets across all formats. Notably, he is set to rejoin Chennai Super Kings (CSK), where he was acquired for INR 9.75 crore during the IPL 2025 auction. Additionally, Ashwin will continue to participate in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) and other club-level cricket competitions.
