Among four switches to Mumbai's playing XI, Chand made the most of his placement at No. 3, recording his first IPL 50 in 16 innings across five seasons. Scattering eight fours and two sixes across a pair of partnerships, the 22-year-old tallied 72 off 46 balls with Lendl Simmons and 63 more off 25 with Rohit Sharma to aid the push to 209. Chand may have earned another opportunity to display his wares, but a decision won't come down until the Indians' next game Thursday against the Daredevils.
