In EnVyUs' time of need due to visa issues, Alex Ich stepped in to try and help the team. Throughout the series, he had an overall impressive performance, but he was ultimately unable to secure victory for his team. He played Corki both games in the series and demonstrated his skill on the powerful pick, earning leads in lane and performing well in teamfights. After earning a small CS lead in Game 1, he picked up his team's first kill of the game and assisted in a teamfight that split kills between the two kills. As the game progressed, he was able to remain safe in teamfights and deal a huge amount of damage, but CLG's synergy proved to be too much allowing them to take Game 1. Alex stepped it up even further in Game 2, picking up four kills for himself just 15 minutes into the game. Despite the impressive start, CLG once again was able to mount a comeback through superior teamfighting and objective control. Throughout the loss, Alex Ich maintained his cool, earning an 8/7/7 KDA. Although he was unable to claim a victory in the series, Alex Ich proved he is still a contender in the mid lane.
