Retires from competitive CoD
CoD
March 22, 2018
Sharp is expected to retire from competitive Call of Duty, the player relayed on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Sharp was one of a number of veterans returning to competitive Call of Duty with the reintroduction of the boots-on-the-ground movement system, but after stints with Pure Gaming and Ascendant Gaming, it seems as if he's ready to hang it up for 2018. Given Sharp's lack of success during Call of Duty: World War II it makes sense, particularly since he already has a lucrative YouTube channel, but it's still disappointing to see one of the true pioneers of the scene walk away. As for the team that he leaves behind, it'll be interesting to see whether Neslo, Killa or MiRx follows a similar path as Sharp.
